Monday - Thursday 10am - 5pm Last call for tastings or open bottles is one hour before closing. Last call for glasses 30 minutes before closing.
HolidaysWe are open every day of the year except Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Years Day. We will close early at 3pm on Dec. 31st.
Wine Club Lounge:
Wine club members have a special seating area within the main tasting room where they can relax and enjoy the view with a glass of wine. Please contact the wine club staff with any questions at wineclub@pedernalescellars.com or by phone 830-644-8186.

Large Group Tasting
In order to accommodate groups of 7 - 16 guests, we ask that you contact the tasting room at 830-644-2037. This will reserve a table for your group for one hour to enjoy your tasting. The tasting is served by a knowledgeable wine professional. Reservations are required, as well as a credit card on file in the event your group does not show. We have a 72-hour cancellation/no-show policy. Failure to cancel will result in a 50% charge of estate tastings for the number of people in your group + 20% gratuity for the server made to the credit card on file.
Reserve Tasting
Enjoy one of our most exclusive wine flights! This all reds tasting includes a selection of limited library wines and exclusive wine club wines. The Reserve Tastings are available on Friday through Sundays by reservation. Book a standard wine tasting on TOCK and in the notes section, leave us a note that you are interested in this reserve experience.
Wine Club Tasting
Wine Club members can enjoy their complimentary tasting or a glass. On weekends, they can choose either the Estate Tasting Menu or the Reserve Tasting Menu. When visiting our reservation website through TOCK, please create an account or log in to your existing account using the same email address as your wine club membership. Directions to the Estate Winery
From Austin (65 miles) and other points eastTake Highway 290 westbound towards Stonewall, pass the turnoff for the LBJ Ranch, and look for the Pedernales Cellars sign, either at the intersection of RR 1623 or at the intersection of Upper Albert Road as you drive out of Stonewall toward Fredericksburg. Take a left, travel for two miles, and then look for the gate and our limestone-walled front entrance. From Fredericksburg (17 miles) and other points west Take U.S. Highway 290 eastbound to Stonewall and turn right onto Upper Albert Road or onto RR1623. Travel for two miles and then look for our limestone-walled front entrance, which is at the intersection of Upper Albert Road with RR 1623. From San Antonio (69 miles) and other points southTake U.S. Highway 281 North toward Johnson City. In Blanco, take a left on 4th Street. 4th Street will turn into River Road, which will turn into Farm Road 1623 and then Ranch Road 1623. 18 miles after the turn off from 281, turn left on Upper Albert Road, and you’ll see Pedernales Cellars on your left. |
Houston (219 miles) and other points eastTake IH-10 West towards San Antonio. Take Exit 632 towards Lockhart and Luling. Drive north on U.S. Highway 183 to Luling. In Luling, take Texas Highway 80 to San Marcos. Continue west on Ranch Road 12 and then on Ranch Road 32. Turn right on U.S. Highway 281 and drive north for two miles to the Blanco 4th Street turnoff, and turn left. 4th Street will turn into River Road, which will turn into Farm Road 1623 and then Ranch Road 1623. 18 miles after the turn off from 281, turn left on Upper Albert Road, and you’ll see Pedernales Cellars on your left. From Dallas (244 miles) and other points north (scenic route)Take US Highway 67 South to Cleburne. Continue on U.S. Highway 67 to Chalk Hill, and then turn left at Texas Highway 220 towards Hico. In Hico, take U.S. Highway 281 South to Johnson City. In Johnson City, take a right on U.S. Highway 290. 15 miles west from Johnson City, look for the Pedernales Cellars sign either at the intersection of RR 1623 or at the intersection of Upper Albert Road as you leave Stonewall. Take a left, travel for two miles, and then look for the gated entrance to Pedernales Cellars at the intersection of RR 1623 and Upper Albert Road. From Dallas (260 miles) and other points north (main highways)Take IH-35 South to Austin. Drive west on US 290 towards Johnson City. Take Highway 290 westbound towards Stonewall, pass the turnoff for the LBJ Ranch, and look for the Pedernales Cellars sign either at the intersection of RR 1623 or at the intersection of Upper Albert Road as you leave Stonewall.
